Hint: Easy goals:
If you have the ball and are outside the area but not on your half, you can check on the map how far the keeper is off his line. Normally he is about two meters. You can lob him easily if you get the power correct.

When your goalie has the ball, call a defender back so that you can pass the ball to him. When you pass your defender the ball, run about two steps then press X to bomb the ball downfield. One of your forwards should be on the other end and all of the other team's defenders will be about even with him. He will chest the ball down, then all you have to do is turn around, run a few steps, and shoot; all of the defenders will be behind you at this point and when he chests the ball down he will not be offsides. Note: This works about 95% of the time.

Hint: Easy wins:
When you are losing the match, press Start and go to "Select Sides". Switch to the other team and score your own goals. When you begin wining you can switch back to your original team.

Hint: Easy unlockable points:
Advance through the game modes and select Tournament mode. Select any cup tournament, as they tend to be shorter. Select the highest rated team or replace a team in the tournament with a highly rated team from another league. Advance to Tournament Central and quick sim all the games until you have won the tournament. You will be awarded unlockable points to spend.

Hint: Easy money:
No matter what team you are in Manager mode, buy the best free agents in the transfer market. Sell them during the same transfer market window so you do not have to pay the high salary. Because they are free to you, once you sell them you can get the added millions to your bank account.

Hint: Easy trophies:
Go into Tournament mode and select any desired cup. Then on the "Select Tournament Teams" screen, remove all the high level clubs and replace them with lower class teams. Then, select a high level team for you to play as. Select "Advance" to play the Tournament. You can now get easy wins in the Tournament. You can even Quick Sim all the matches if desired. If you picked a high level team to play as, such as Arsenal or Chelsea, and all the other teams are low level, like Barnet and Boston, then your opponents do not really stand a chance. Note: If you choose to Quick Sim all the matches a result may rarely appear stating that you lost. Save the game after every two or three matches.

Hint: Preview unlockables:
Purchase unlockable items without saving your profile. After testing items, simply reload your profile to re-acquire the unlockable points. By using this technique you can unlock and test all the unlockables in the game.

Hint: Finding Giovanni Dos Santos:
You can find Giovanni Dos Santos in Barcelona's reserve list. Even though he is only 69 overall you can edit his stats and make him as good as Ronaldinho. You will then have two of the best midfielder's in the game.

Hint: Cheaper players:
This trick works in Manager mode when you are changing teams at the end of a season. At the end of the season when you are asked whether or not to renew certain players' contracts, choose not to renew the contracts of your favorite or best players (the ones you want on your new team). When you arrive at the new team and the transfer period starts, the players will be free agents, allowing you to transfer them without paying millions in fees and allowing you to re-negotiate the contract to fit your new team.

Hint: Double stepover:
Cristiano Ronaldo and Robinho are two of the best dribblers. Use the Trick Stick with Ronaldo or Robinho to perform a double stepover. Press Forward, then rotate left and then right.

Hint: Rainbow:
With good dribblers such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Robinho, run downfield with the ball. As you are running or juggling, rotate the Right Analog-stick clockwise once and your player should do the rainbow. Remember, do all this while running with the ball.

In Manager mode, there is a very good player named Goeke who can be a very rare find. He is German and his overall is 99 from the third season. He also lasts the entire 15 years and stays at 99. If you get Theo Walcott and are lucky enough to have Goeke, you will have the two best strikers on the game who last to the end. However Walcott gets to 99 usually about Season 10. Although this is awhile to wait, he can still score from anywhere and is also quick.
Stealth.

Create a team of eleven players rated 99 overall. Then, get five players rated 85 or higher overall. Use these players as substitutes. When you create the team make sure you start out with $50 million. Start a season in Manager mode with this team. All of your staff or coaches will be rated 9 or 10. Before the first game, re-negotiate as many of the contracts as you can and bring down the salary per game at least $10,000. You will have a good team and be able to afford it. Three recommended players are: Wayne Rooney, Christiano Ronaldo, and Robinho.

The following players mature to become some of the best players in the world. Also, Sissoko and Edgar are quality players.

Throughout Manager mode, go to Transfer mode and go to "Search". Put the setting on overall sprint speed in any league and any transfer mode. Look closely throughout the given players. You will find a center defensive midfielder named H. Drill and a striker named T. Geoke. Both of these players will be overall 99 and remain like that for the full fifteen years. They will also stay 99 overall in any position that you put them in.

If desired, you can sell Essien or Makelele and buy Ronaldinho. If you are running out of money at Newcastle, sell Owen and Ameobi, then buy a cheap striker with an overall rating of 80 or above and pick up Mido on a free agent.
