When earning credits, you can buy secret teams, stadiums, and game modes. You can only get the credits by participating in "Exhibition" and "Tournament" modes. Then on the Franchise and Season modes, you can earn money to buy, improve, or trade your players for better players.

Play Tournament Mode and win about three times (no dog team). Then, buy David and Goliath mode and choose the away team so that you will be big. Then, throw Hail Marys.

Save your credits until you can get the "butterfungaz" code. It is the easiest way to get credits. Set the game to the hardest difficulty setting. If you kick first tackle the ball carrier, then you will be able to run it in for a touchdown.
