and Wurd.
Hint: Pacing lizard at title screen:
Go to the "Cheats" menu and watch the "Art
Gallery" presentation. After "The Turok Team" picture,
it ends and begins to cycle again. Return to the first main menu
and wait for about five minutes. From the left, a small green
lizard will walk along the bottom of your screen, with a picket
sign that reads "Lost Land or Bust!!!". When he reaches
the right side of the screen, he will turn around and walk the
other way, revealing the other side of the sign which reads "Start
the Game!". He will look over at you a couple of times, but
mainly stares at the ground.
Andy L..
Hint: Nuke in single player mode:
In Chapter 8, "Arena", defeat the Steracosaur
Boss. After doing this, the force field around the middle pillar
will drop. Climb to the top of the pillar to get both the Nuke
Attachment (for the Rocket Launcher) and a Nuke. You will now
be able to fire the Nuke only twice (the Nuke Attachment has a
Nuke already in it). There are no more Nukes past Chapter 8. Also
, the "All weapons" and "Unlimited ammunition"
cheats do not work for the Nuke.
Wurd.
Hint: Nuke in multi-player mode:
The Nuke can be found in three multi-player levels:
Tears Of Horatio, Withering Heights, and Dino-Depot. Note: Do
not have the "Unlimited Ammo" option in the multi-player
options menu activated or the Nuke will not appear. You can still
use the "Unlimited Ammo" cheat in the cheat menu and
get the Nuke. The "Unlimited Ammo" cheat does not give
you unlimited Nukes. The Nuke will respawn after a period of time.
Wurd.
Tears of Horatio: Go up either path, up the cliff, until you reach
a big metal platform with three holes in it. Turn around and you
will face a huge rock pillar. A Swarm Bore canister will be at
the foot of the pillar. Directly above the Swarm Bore canister
is the Nuke, floating in the air. You must have the Jump Boots
to get it.
Wurd.
Tears Of Horiatio: Get the nuke and stay up there. If your friend
approaches, shoot the nuke directly at the ground below you and
do not move. It will not touch you, but will kill anyone around
you. There is also a good hiding spot in at the end of that level,
where there are cannons. Go on one of the side cannons and go
to the very end. Then, turn around and quickly hit back and then
forward. You should get stuck. Try jumping a lot until you are
in it. If you do not go in, drop a little bit farther and try
again. This place is a good hiding spot from trackers like the
plasma cannon.
mike smith.
Withering Heights: Do not flip the switch as described above.
If you do this and jump to the center platform, you will be killed
by a trap cage. Instead, just jump out the window above the disagreeing
trampoline and it will appear for you.
Alex Schoolcraft.
Withering Heights: It is small but easy to get around because
of the trampolines. The nuke is in the center. You can get it
and aim it directly down at where you stand for and instant kill
for all around.
mike smith.
Dino Depot: The Nuke can be found on the top of the yellow box
car. You must have the Jump Boots to reach it.
Wurd.
Hint: Invincible Raptors in multi-player
mode:
Play in the Regeneres Arena level in multi-player mode.
Go to the big door with the Jump Boots in it. Get the Jump Boots.
Back up slightly and jump up on to either of the little ledges
on the sides of the door. Then, jump up to the gap in the wall
higher up. Next, go all the way to the right. You will see a little
button-like object with a picture of a person cut in half and
a raptor next to him. Either shoot or hit it with your War Club.
When you do this, stay up on the gap. Look below to see that the
big door and the other three doors will open. Raptors will appear
from them, and you cannot kill them. However, they will go after
the other players. To make them go away, wait until they go back
in the doors. This is useful, as the raptors kill the other players
and they lose kills as if they killed themselves.
EarthlyAlienBoy9.
Hint: Defeating Bruckner:
To kill Bruckner, the last Boss in the game, run a
safe distance from him. Line him up with a tree so that it is
in front and Brucker behind. When Bruckner gets close to the tree,
shoot it onto him. Note: The tree takes more hits than usual to
take down. It should kill Bruckner in one hit. This also has the
same affect on other enemies.
UltimateLifeFormShadow.
Hint: Kill enemies with one hit from battle
ax:
Note: This trick does not work on Raptors, Purrlin,
and Captain Bruckner. Have the battle ax ready. Hold Fire
until Tal'Set turns the ax around and puts it behind him. Then,
aim for the enemy's head (you might have to jump) and release.
It helps to have the invisibility cheat enabled so that they stand
still. If you miss but still hit them, try hitting them one more
time.
arf88.
Hint: Chapter 1: Frogs and lizards:
There are frogs and lizards on the ground in certain
areas, usually near the water. Approach one and hit it with the
war club. It will burst into large chunks of meat.
Hint: Chapter 2: Surprised guide:
During the second scene of the chapter is a Brachiosaur
that is relieving itself. There is also a Brachiosaur immediately
before this one. You will see it behind the second ancient structure
as you exit the cave. Fly under the Brachiosaur's legs and you
will surprise your female guide.
Hint: Chapter 5: Rescue The Wise Father
level:
You can wipe out all The slegs and the Jailer without
leaving the room that leads you into the circular prison room.
Best of all, you can have the really big Slegs do some of the
dirty work for you. First, get as heavily armed as possibly by
breaking all the crates and gathering anything you can use before
hitting the switch to open the door. Weapons of choice here are
both the explosive arrows and rocket launcher and grenades. Use
them in that order if possible. You will need the grenades later
in a key point. With luck, you started this level healthy and
did not need to get the large med-kit at the start. Being able
to return and use it is a big bonus. Begin your assault without
entering the big prison area. After you strike your first blow,
fall back into the room and wait for them to come to you. Hold
them back by taking them out in the hallway. You need to survive
up to the fifth wave. Next, head back into the tunnels. As you
arrive at the first room with the grated floor above, you will
probably see two big Slegs. Leave them and wait for the gigantic
Sleg to appear. Once he appears, he will proceed to squash the
other Slegs. Wait for the other Slegs to arrive. After the other
Slegs arrive, they will all just stand there (including the gigantic
Sleg). As you move, the giant Sleg will follow. Guide him to the
other Slegs and they too will be squashed. Continue this until
the giant Sleg refuses to play anymore. Them take out your spiked
grenades. Stick them under the feet of any that remain, then back
off and watch them go down. When you get to the Jailer, it will
require about five grenades to kill. Return to the beginning to
replenish on grenades and health if needed. Once the Jailer is
gone, you have the entire prison area's stash of weapons at your
disposal.
Don.
Hint: Chapter 8: Arena level: Extra ammunition:
When you begin this section, you start in a room with
a large door both in back and in front of you. Also, in front
of you is a supply of ammunition. Normally when you leave this
room, the door will close behind you and will not re-open. Use
the following trick to keep it open. After sniping everybody you
can from this room, turn around and face the back of the room.
Then, look all the way up. As you are looking up, walk backwards
so you can see the front (open) door. Continue to walk just out
the door until you see the door begin to close. Wait until it
is half way down and go back into the room. The door will re-open.
It should now be stuck open. If not, then repeat the process until
it sticks. You now have the remaining ammunition at your disposal.
Don.
Hint: Save ammunition:
When you see a raptor or an alligator, you can save
ammunition by using the war club. Hold Shoot and your character
will hold the club back. When you release it, he will use the
spiked side of the club, which can kill alligators and raptors
in one hit.
Hint: Better aim with weapons without scopes:
Equip a weapon with a scope (Tek Bow recommended).
Aim at whatever you are trying to shoot with the scope. Then,
switch to a more powerful weapon without a scope and fire. The
crosshairs will not move and you will hit the target.
tthompson.
Note: This trick will work with most weapons, but not with ones
that spread such as the shotgun. This will also generally not
work with enemies, as they move.
Ben Steketee.
Hint: Killing underwater alligators:
Use the pistol. It will shoot things that are underwater
when you are not.
tthompson.
Glitch: Transparent enemies:
In any level, when you kill an enemy they will slowly
disappear. Wait until an enemy begins to disappear then quickly
hit it with your axe to make it stay on the field. It will be
transparent.
Christian Evans.
Glitch: Invincible Sleg:
In the first part of Chapter 4 (Infiltration), go to
the place where there are people being hanged. Make sure the alarm
is not active. Wait for the two Slegs that are shooting the people
to start walking towards them. Get behind the machine gun, and
while the Sleg on the right is pressing a button and making a
beeping sound, shoot him. You will probably blow his leg off,
but instead of falling on the ground, he just stands there. He
will not die, even if you keep shooting him.
JRisDaMan11.
Glitch: Crawling Sleg:
The following trick requires a Dark Matter Cube. Go
to a door with Slegs inside. Throw the Dark Matter Cube at the
door. It will suck them in. The door will also open. You will
see one or two Slegs still alive, but they are leaning forward
and appear as if they are crawling. Note: This may require several
attempts.
The gamemaster.
Glitch: Floating raptor in multi-player
mode:
Chose a raptor in multi-player mode. Go to the first
place seen when choosing a destination. Go underwater and press
X to see yourself, then start walking. Next, make yourself
appear to be walking at the bottom. Then, hold A. When
you are at the top of the water, keep A held. You will
see yourself begin to float up to the sky. You will fall back
down if you hear yourself getting out of the water and will still
drown sometimes.
The gamemaster.
Choose either of the raptors in multi-player mode and go to the
first level at the level selection screen. Go to the center of
the stage and enter the water. Change from first person view to
third person view (where you can see the entire raptor) then press
Jump. You should start flying out of the water. Note: The
game still considers you in the water, and you will start drowning
after awhile if you do not change views.
Gamemaster21490.
Glitch: Bleeding walls in multi-player
mode:
Set up your multi-player screen as desired. Choose
one of the raptors as your character. During game play, sidestep
until you get to a wall. Turn the raptor until his head appears
to be in the wall. Press R and watch him eat up the wall.
Doug Mings.
Glitch: Blood rocket:
Equip the Gravity Disrupter with the "Grab"
function. Find an open area and grab an enemy. Jump and just at
its highest point, throw the enemy up and release. If done correctly,
he should rocket up very high into the air. Iif he is bleeding,
he will look like a "blood rocket".
Pirate32.
Glitch: Flying Spider Mines:
Get a Spider Mine. Have run off a cliff or ledge.
Keep pressing Jump. Your Spider Mine will be jumping in
the air.
Arthur Lee.
Glitch: Teleporting Spider Mines:
Go to the level with the two buildings and bridges
in the middle with the trampolines. Get a Spider Mine. Throw the
Spider Mine on the trampoline. The Spider Mine will keep falling.
Suddenly, you will be in the Spider Mine's view, except you will
be on the other side of the level.
Arthur Lee.
Glitch: Shoot backwards by invisible barrier:
Go to the level with the cannon that shoots you out.
Walk on top of the cannon. Quickly run off the tip and press Back.
You will be in the front side of the cannon. If you try to walk
to the back side of the barrel, you will suddenly be shot out
in the other direction.
Arthur Lee.
Glitch: Chapter 3: Climb walls:
When the dinosaur Rex first appears and the door behind
locks, begin walking toward the walls. Continue and if you alert
the dinosaur, kill him. Move on the tall grass until you see something
that resembles a ramp. Walk toward it. If done correctly, you
will climb the wall and reach the other side. The other side has
a black fall. If you fall, there is no death. You will continue
to fall forever.
christian aguila.
Glitch: Orb of Destruction:
On the second part of Chapter 4, throw a Dark Matter
Cube and quickly pause game play. If done fast enough, it will
be paused either just when it hits the ground, or as it is leaving
his hand. Resume the game and he will have nothing in his hand.
If you throw another cube, it will reappear. If you switch modes
(go to the secondary mode), it will appear as if you have an orb
in your hand.
Ben Steketee.
Glitch: Chapter 1: Green star:
At the end of Chapter 1 (Hunter's Peril), there will
be a small pool of water with alligators and two Brachiosaurs.
You may want to have all cheats on (to have all of the weapons)
and eliminate the dinosaurs in the area. Stand on the rock behind
the one sticking out of the water (near the biggest Brachiosaur).
Take out your bow with the sniper-scope. Look into the sky, facing
in the direction of the small waterfall, and use the C-stick
to move the view around. You should see a faint glimmer in the
sky. Zoom in two times toward the glimmer and you will see a green
star. Also, in multi-player mode's "Tears of Horatio",
stand near the cannon on the side with Empathy Chest Plate and
look in the sky, in the direction of the other Cannon. Use your
Sniper Bow again. You may need to zoom in two times again, or
look around for the glimmer. You can also use the "Flying
raptor" glitch with the "Infinite Health" cheat
activated and "fly" in the direction of the star to
get a close up view of it. Note: Use A to fly upward and
the Analog-stick to walk. Use A to fly upward if
you start dropping.
Glitch: Chapter 8: Invincible ally:
Play through the chapter until you get to the part
where you must fight the dinosaur with the rocket launchers on
his back. Wait a while, then kill him. If you waited long enough,
there will only be one ally there. Try to kill him. You will notice
that no matter which gun you use and no matter how many times
you shoot him, he will never die.
Chris Holloway.
Glitch: Chapter 11: Fly out into a never
ending sky:
At the very beginning of the second level of Chapter
11 (where you must destroy the power core), hold X and
turn right. You should do a U-turn and fly out into a never ending
sky. In order to get back to the power core. turn around. You
should see the power core. Just fly through the wall. Note: This
will not crash your game.
