When you are cornered or cannot outrun a Zoid, just use a Speed Booster. Another thing you can use is a shield. If you use one, speed on a Rev Raptor is recommended. You will have a very strong Zoid that can defeat lots of opponents easily.

Note: It requires a lot of BP to get your Zoid like this, but in the end you will get a lot of BP. The best Zoid you can get is the Griffon or Gojalis Giga. You can equip them with the Buster Cannon Eaglem which can kill most Zoids in about three to six shots. Even the big ones such as Deathstinger can be killed easily because Gojalis Giga has 4200 health.
